Age of Legends
inox, the Feral Lord, was among the first and the greatest of the Abominations created by Isoldied During the Kinslayer Wars. In the last grievous years of the first age (Earth’s Dawn), the Dwarves had sealed the gates of Argulan with a powerful ward barring entrance to the legions of Isoldied. Purchase to the halls of the great city might be found through many deep cavern hollows within Mt Nindor, yet none among Isoldied’s followers save the Minotaurs could rival the Dwarves in combat within their own labyrinthine halls. Moreover these alone could not combat Dwarven rune-magic. Hence a champion was needed to lead the minotaurs safely into Argulan. To this end Isoldied plied his great skill at shaping, and from the perverse union of Balor and Minotaur, Minox was spawned. At his birth Minox bellowed forth a defiant cry, and his lowing shook the foundations of the mountains. Isoldied’s plan worked only too well, for Argulan could not withstand the feral furry that the Ilad had unleashed upon the mountain. However the Master Shaper soon found that not even he could contain the primal rage of Minox. Once he had made an end of the Dwarves of Argulan, his thirst for blood un-sated, the spawn of beast and demon then turned to the slaughter of his own half-kin. Nearly as many minotaurs were felled by the great axe of Minox that day as were Dwarves. Though Isoldied used all of his dark arts to restrain Minox, the abomination’s will could not be dominated, nor his rage tamed. Hence, with sorrow the Ilad cast his willful beast-child into the Ornian Sea, binding him within a coral prison. There Minox has remained till this very day, and his animal rage, unabated, lies in wait of the time of its release.Minox appears as a large vaguely human like creature with oily red flesh, a thick brown main of coarse oxen hair and the head of a demonic bull. His beastial head is crowned by a set of three horns, and within his mighty grasp is the large cruel greataxe, Glezeroc. Minox is worshiped by some barbarians, and by Minotaurs who deeply fear him, yet admire his primal verility.
